Melina Kanakaredes An American actor is best known for her portrayals of The Resident's Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama Providence and as Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. Also, she was praised for her dramatic television debut in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. A few of her most memorable films includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. It is reported that she is working on a movie adaptation of author Elisabeth Kubler Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the team who wrote the movie Immortals. The actress is also working on a new show called Gods & Heroes.
