Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is known as a well-known American cook book author for a number of seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina Garten started her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget papers. She initially adored the intellectual stimulation of the job, but quickly stopped her interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. After 18 years of making her business a massive success, she sold it and began writing her first book. The other cookbooks came out, as magazines too. The Food Network TV show also was launched, and was a huge hit. In addition, she sells all kinds of cooking equipment, tools and storage containers. Ina is an aspiring cook that hasn't attended a cooking school, nor been in the kitchen. Ina's easygoing style of entertaining and her easy cooking style is well-known. Her most well-known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
