She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Columbia University in 2007. She graduated in 2017 and joined as co-host of the morning program The View, which she was host until 2021. As a result of her performance, she earned 4 Daytime Emmy Award nominations. McCain started writing a daily column for The Daily Mail. Daily Mail after leaving The View. McCain is also the author of four books: The Story of My Dad John McCain, Dirty Sexy Politics and America You Sexy Bitch.
